Rest Day

What is your mental state after a workout?
Accomplished?
Fatigued?
Exhausted?
Jumbled?
Fired Up?
Some of the above?
None of the above?

Your mental state after a workout is a great indicator of what you're doing to your body during the workout. If you are consistently feeling confused, flattened, or your mind is racing after a workout, think about taking a step back for a day or two.

Where is your mental state just before going to sleep?
Stressed?
Relaxed?
Confused?

How long does it take you to fall asleep?

Your mental state before sleep is another indicator of your physical health as well. If you feel mentally relaxed, but fall asleep within seconds of hitting the pillow, you're lacking in sleep. If you're physically exhausted, but your mind races a mile a minute keeping you awake, you need to take a mental break, and maybe a physical one as well.
